HM, Qatar Emir discuss bilateral relations

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik paid a private fraternal visit to Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, on Sunday.

During the visit, a cordial meeting was held between the two leaders at Qasr Al Hukum in the Qatari capital, Doha. Their discussions reviewed the trajectory of bilateral relations and explored avenues for further developing existing cooperation across various sectors, in a manner that serves mutual interests and shared aspirations.

Alongside His Majesty the Sultan, the meeting was attended by HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham al Said, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidy, Minister of Interior, Eng Salim bin Nasser al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, Sayyid Dr Sultan bin Yarub al Busaidy, Adviser at the Private Office, and Sayyid Ammar bin Abdullah al Busaidy, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar.

 

 

It was attended from the Qatari side by Shaikh Saud bin Abdulrahman al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Shaikh Khalifa bin Hamad al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), Abdullah bin Mohammed al Khulaifi, Chief of the Amiri Diwan, Shaikh Hamad bin Tamim al Thani, Saad bin Sherida al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs, Shaikh Faisal bin Thani al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah al Thani, Minister of Transport, Sultan bin Saad al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and Shaikh Mubarak bin Fahad al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Sultanate of Oman.

The Emir of the State of Qatar was at the forefront of those welcoming and bidding farewell to His Majesty the Sultan at the Amiri Terminal of Hamad International Airport, accompanied by a number of senior officials. – ONA
