The Sultanate of Oman is showing its literary heritage and new intellectual works to the world joining people from many countries at the 11th Istanbul International Arab Book Fair in Türkiye. This event is happening from August 15 to August 23. It is a cultural event that brings together people from different regions and countries.
The Sultanate of Oman has a team at the event organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth. They have an area just for Oman to show the country’s art, history and intellectual work.
The Sultanate of Oman is taking part in this event to show its culture to people around the world and to talk to scholars, publishers and people who love literature from other countries. The Sultanate of Oman wants to share its culture with the world and learn from others at the time.

At the center of Oman’s display is a collection of books and papers from the government and private groups as well as smart books and fun programs for young people.
The things they show are meant to help keep Oman’s history and culture safe. They want people from countries, students and young people to see what Oman is all about from a long time ago to now.
This year’s event is called “The Story Continues”. It shows how strong the Arab tradition of writing and telling stories is and also shows how books and stories can help people from cultures talk to each other. Than 300 groups that make books are coming from over 30 countries.
The event is not about showing books. It is also a nine-day meeting where people can talk about books, discuss topics and have fun with people from other cultures. This is meant to help people who make books work together from around the world.
By maintaining an active presence in prominent international forums like the Istanbul fair, the Sultanate of Oman continues to highlight its national identity, support local authors, and facilitate dialogue within the global literary community.
